At Inspiring Hope Community Outreach, we support children and families who are experiencing grief, trauma, divorce, or other life transitions. Through the power of play, creativity, and compassion, we give children a voice when words feel too big or too hard to say.

Healing Hearts Workshop -Emotions and Strengths - Helping children learn to manage their emotions.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

A total of 12 boys, ranging in ages from 8 to 12, participated in the workshop. Each child received a special kit in a string bag that included additional educational activities, therapeutic games, and supportive materials designed to help them continue learning beyond the workshop. These resources were carefully selected to encourage the children to keep exploring their emotions, recognizing their strengths, and practicing healthy coping skills in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way.

The workshop took place at the Manuel Fernández Juncos Boy's Home, which since 1906, has been dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and young people affected by abuse, abandonment, and neglect. As a non-profit organization, it provides preventive, educational, and therapeutic services designed to promote healing, personal growth, and hope for the future. Serving youth ages 8–18, the organization offers a safe and supportive environment where young people can rebuild their lives through comprehensive educational programs, preventive interventions, and therapeutic support that empower them to develop healthy, positive life paths.
